Back Bay's Premier Luxury Residences
The Back Bay is best-known for its luxurious housing, its primarily young professional residents, shopping areas and as the home of the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Back Bay is an officially recognized neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, with its upscale residential, retail, and commercial office district.
Back Bay borders Beacon Hill, and together the two are considered to be on the high end of Boston's neighborhoods. The area is also known for its popular shopping destinations, such as the fashionable Newbury Street, as well as the expansive Prudential Center mall.
The neighborhood is architecturally dominated by Victorian brownstone buildings towards the north, as the area is more residential. Southern Back Bay is far more commercial, as it is the home to some of Boston's most impressive skyscrapers.
